How to get there

Lugano and its Exhibition Centre are easily reachable with all means of transport. (map):

By Car

From Milan: Highway A8 dei Laghi, direction Como - San Gottardo or Highway A8, direction Varese - Stabio (Gaggiolo). Suggested exit: Lugano Sud.
From Zurich: Highway A2, direction San Gottardo - Chiasso - Italia. Suggested exit: Lugano Sud.
After having driven along the lakeside, direction city centre, it is enough follow the indications for the Holiday Exhibition Centre.

Please remember that in order to drive along the Swiss highways it is compulsory having the highway stamp on the windsreen (cost SF 40.- valid from January to December) to be bought at the Customs. Otherwise, Lugano can be reached by the canton road.

The Exhibition Centre is only 6 minutes on foot from the city centre,otherwise it is possible using the city busses (line 1), getting off at Lido stop.
